Filter Rape

its merely a photo with filters on it. Most likely chrome and bas relief, with a blue tint.

i don't know what's a "filter rape", cos i'm french you know, but, no no, that's not a photo, successive layer on a hand drawed pattern. So rape on his own pencil base i say you can't rape yourself man, or you should be really weird. Of course there are filters man, i play with my computer on graphic experiments, i won't let it down for some lack of perception about process

Where To Start. I guess I'll go from top to bottom. For the girl on the right, Her head is quite big, while the rest of her body is more-as a twig. Anatomy is quite out of wack- You did address the arms, but what is on the end of them that scares me. The hands are very, very small. Normally a hand is about as tall as the head, The fingers (especially on what would be her right hand) are in odd positions, the palms on one hand is bigger than the other. I can see that you are drawing in an anime-ish style, but I have never seen a nose that small from a side view. She has quite the large forehead too. The girl on the left is more anatomically correct, but the head bothers me. I'm not too sure if its from the size or shape (or maybe a mix of the two)One arm seems to be bigger than the other, One leg is thicker than the other, and the feet are blah, but feet are quite hard to do, so no bashing on that. The outlines of everything are quite rough, and i see a lot of white spots in them, along with alot of colors going over the lines. And I'm forcing myself to ask, Is the background yours?

In general, Cleaner lines, some more practice, maybe use a few reference pics (or use yourself as a reference)

And yes, the background was mine - though it was made with many, MANY effects in Paint.net @_@ But I didn't copy it from anywhere, if that's what you mean.

This has some awfully bright colors if it is to be set at night.... and some shading is there too, along with a highlight, when there normally isnt any light, At night.

I would use some darker colors, or if you dont feel comfortable doing that, go and look for a night scene drawing tut...
